Branston is a lovely dog with the kindest, gentle, laid back temperament�who�loves�everyone.��He has an excellent head and good conformation.

Branston sailed through his Kennel Club Good Citizen Silver Award with flying colours but unfortunately due to pressures of work we haven't had the time to take him for his Gold.

Branston is keen to please and always willing to learn.� Here he is pictured below practicing his recall in obedience.
Today we lost a very special member of our family.
Our beloved Branston – Inch’s best friend, his right hand man - ‘my boy’ as he called him. They were inseparable, from the moment Branston was born he laid on Inch’s lap and there he was to stay until today just 11 years later. Given sleep, whilst in his Dad’s arms, to prevent further suffering after his second stroke left him incapacitated and disorientated and although he is now at peace we are distraught with grief at his passing as he has left a deep cavern in our lives.
Branston grew up with Inch (Ian) - spending his time sitting on the tractor whilst they were out ploughing, etc and enjoying exploring the farmland (even when he wasn’t supposed to be!) until he heard Inch call that it was time to go home. They went everywhere together. However, he spent his later years at home going down the wood every morning and taking his daily constitutional (after following Inch down to feed the pigs in piggy wood), tracing the same route around the perimeter of the paddocks on his own avoiding the youngsters playing in the field.
Always at Inch’s side, he filled our hearts with love. He was such a character, he loved everyone - young and old alike and was always thrilled if someone would sit on the floor with him and make as much fuss of him as possible. He would sit on Inch’s lap in the evenings to watch TV as he adored his Dad and this was reciprocated manyfold.
Sleep well darling Branston, we are devastated that you had to leave us so soon and our hearts are broken with the pain of losing you dearest friend xxx
