'Honey'

Honey was happy, full of fun and very quick to learn. She loved life and everyone in it and was a joy to own. She was retired from breeding in 2010 as she found it too stressful parting with her puppies so the decision was taken to have her spayed to prevent her having any more worries.

Honey had the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Gold Award.

Honey had 8 puppies to Show Champion Ludalor Lunar Eclipse over Amberstope (Max - details below) born 5 days early on 26 March 2010. This litter produced the Championship Show winner Tamazan Quaoar (HS 7:5, Elbows 0:0, Eye Cert, DNA PRA Clear) owned by Janet Neal and the very clever and beautiful Tamazan Quintessential (HS 2:3, Elbows 0:1, Eye Cert) owned by Julie Neale (unrelated!). If you check on her daughter 'Crumpet's' page you can see the full pedigree as this was a repeat of the mating which produced our lovely Crumpet.

Champion Wilsbury Wildfire at Halishmoor (Honey's Dad)

In February 2009 Honey had six puppies to Ludalor Lunar Eclipse over Amberstope JW (Champion Amberstope Blue Moon to Champion Ludalor Lilly) Hips 3:3, Elbows: 0:0, Eyes: Optigen Normal/Clear. 2CCs. Max carries his parents lovely temperament and has an extremely happy, laid back nature. Follow their progress in Honey's Photo Album 2009. We kept one yellow girl for ourselves called Crumpet! She is already she is following in her mother's and sister Bramble's footsteps and has her KC Good Citizen Silver Award. Crumpet's father Max below:

Honey was Emma's dog and she lived with Emma thinking she was 'human' and not really realizing that actually she was a dog. Emma wrote this about her beloved girl:

Honey was the most amazing dog with a fabulous character. Always going off after "interesting sniffs" on her evening walks which although most annoying for me in the dark - she thought was the best fun imaginable. At times I am convinced she thought she was human favoring the end of my bed to sleep on and cuddling up on the sofa with me to watch TV.

Very sadly we lost her on the 8th December 2012 after a tragic accident and it has left a gaping hole in my life. She was my best friend, my confident and my hot water bottle always by my side where ever I went. Honey - I hope you have all the interesting sniffs you could possibly want now. I will always miss you and you will forever be in my heart. You are irreplaceable.
