Temperament, Quality and Soundness
We are a small family home, breeding only one or two select litters each year of black, chocolate and yellow Labrador Retrievers. Trying hard to produce happy, friendly puppies that want to please as well as breeding to the standard using only health checked stock. We are Kennel Club Assured Breeders ensuring the highest standards and life long after care service.
In the past puppies have done extremely well in the show ring and many have competed in Working Trials/Gundog Tests, Obedience and Agility. Others have gone on to become working gundogs. However, these days most of our puppies go to become loving family pets so temperament is of utmost importance. Our goal is to produce healthy, friendly, trainable companions.
We have five Labradors of our own whose ages range from four months to fourteen years. All our dogs are healthy, have excellent temperaments and are good with children and other animals.
Sadly in September 2026 we had to make the decision to say goodbye to the remainder of the OLDLANDS herd of pedigree Oxford Sandy and Black Pigs due to Ian's health, but we have some lovely memories from our many years breeding and showing where we made a lot of friends.
